Brad met his wife, Marcy, while studying at the University of Madrid, Spain. They homeschool their five children. Brad has taught Spanish professionally for over 30 years, including 20 years to homeschoolers, 12 years at Portland Christian High School, 10 years as President of a student exchange company in the UK, and three years as Director of Admissions for AYUSA International.
Brad and Marcy earned B.A. degrees from the University of California and Master's degrees in theology from Bristol University, England. Brad's teaching credential is from Chapman University. He has been a state licensed K-12 teacher, with specialty in Spanish, in Oregon and California.
The Rieggs have led several mission trips to Mexico with Youth for Christ, and have traveled to about 50 countries. The Rieggs also serve as pro-life advocates.
Andrew is a dynamic Spanish teacher who has been drawing his students out to play with the language for over a decade. He completed the Cambridge University ICELT program in English language teaching, and has taught with Living Waters Spanish for one year.
Andrew lived and worked in Mexico for six years. There he was a youth pastor, English teacher, and English program coordinator at Centro NOE. Presently, he is in training to become a pastor for a Spanish-speaking congregation.
