This is where Spanish turns into ministry. Spanish 3 students lead worship, help translate for their mission teams, and talk with Spanish speakers at church and in the community. Many also earn college credit through CLEP along the way.

Not necessarily. Spanish 3 is for students who’ve finished our Spanish 2 or have two or three years of Spanish somewhere else. It moves faster because it builds on a strong foundation, so take the free placement guide or email Marcy and we’ll help you decide.
Students add the subjunctive and more advanced grammar, grow to 2,400+ words, and move from telling stories to real discussion. On the faith side, they start leading worship, talking through hard questions, and translating on mission trips. It’s also where many students get ready for the CLEP exam.

Every class opens with prayer and worship in Spanish, and the Bible is still the main text. At this level students discuss Scripture, talk through what they believe and why, and practice real ministry situations. Our teachers keep discipling students by name, not just teaching them.
It’s a big step. Spanish 3 students help translate and lead worship on our Mexico trips, and former students have gone on to serve with YWAM in Mexico and at a Christian camp in Bolivia. Spanish 4 takes that even further.

About 40 minutes a day, Monday through Thursday: Education Perfect, Bible reading in Spanish, writing, and vocabulary. Add 15 to 30 minutes a week of conversation with a native speaker. With class, that’s about 4.5 hours a week total.
Life happens. There’s a 4-week grace period for makeup work, so students can finish missed assignments or quizzes within four weeks of the due date.
