Spanish 2 uses the same TPRS storytelling method as Spanish 1, with richer stories and deeper conversation. Grammar like past and future tense sinks in because students hear it used over and over in stories they care about, not because they memorized a chart.

Yes, every Spanish 2 class filled for 2026–27. For 2027–28, claim a free early access pass. Pass holders enroll in February 2027, before registration opens to the public, so they get first pick of class times.
Not necessarily. Spanish 2 is for students who’ve finished our Spanish 1 or have a year or two of Spanish somewhere else. Students coming from traditional programs usually adjust well to our storytelling style. Take the free placement guide or email Marcy and we’ll help you decide.
Same live format and weekly rhythm, but students add past and future tense, double their vocabulary to 1,600+ words, and do a lot more of the talking. The faith side grows too: students start leading prayer, sharing their testimony in detail, and explaining the gospel.
About 90%, just like Spanish 1. New words and ideas still come with English support slides, so students always understand what’s going on. By this level most students are comfortable with it from the first day.
Every class opens with prayer and worship in Spanish, students memorize Scripture, and the Bible is the main text. In Spanish 2 the vocabulary goes deeper into testimony and sharing the gospel, and our teachers keep discipling students by name, not just teaching them.
No books or workbooks. All curriculum, a Spanish Bible, and Education Perfect Spanish are included. Your student just needs a regular laptop or desktop (not a Chromebook), reliable WiFi, and a paper notebook. See the full list.
About 40 minutes a day, Monday through Thursday: Education Perfect, Bible audio and reading in Spanish, writing, and vocabulary. Add 15 to 30 minutes a week of conversation with a native speaker. With class, that’s about 4.5 hours a week total.
Life happens. There’s a 4-week grace period for makeup work, so students can finish missed assignments or quizzes within four weeks of the due date.
It’s a big step toward it. Some students feel ready for the CLEP exam after Spanish 2, and our Spanish 3 and 4 students regularly pass it, earning 6 to 12 college credits. Learn about college credit.
Yes to both. We welcome students 12 to adult, and Spanish 2 is a great next step for adults preparing for missions. Any parent or grandparent can also audit for free. If a parent wants their own homework account and credit, they can enroll at regular tuition.
