What Your Student Needs for Class
Just a few things so your student can jump in on day one and not miss a thing. Almost everything they'll use this year is already included with tuition.
Please don't use a Chromebook
We've had several families on Chromebooks run into class tools not loading properly. To keep your student from falling behind, please plan on a regular Windows laptop, Mac, or desktop computer.
Bring These to Class
Four things. Once these are set, your student is ready to worship, speak, and learn with their class every week.
Laptop or desktop computer
Windows or Mac. Not a Chromebook, tablet, or phone. Class runs live on Zoom and we use online tools during and after class.
Reliable WiFi
A strong WiFi or wired connection that can handle 90 minutes of live video without freezing or dropping out.
A paper notebook
A paper spiral or composition notebook just for Spanish, not a digital one. Students take notes and write by hand during class every week.
Camera & microphone
Students speak out loud every class. The built-in camera and mic on your laptop work just fine, nothing extra to buy. Just find a quiet spot.
