Spanish 4 is for students who’ve finished our Spanish 3 or have three or more years of solid Spanish elsewhere. It’s our highest level, so take the free placement guide or email Marcy and we’ll help you decide.
Students round out all the major tenses and moods, grow to 3,200+ words, and read longer texts and literature. The ministry side goes further too: students practice preaching and teaching in Spanish and help lead on mission trips. It’s also the year many students aim for a 4 or 5 on AP Spanish.

Every class opens with worship and prayer in Spanish, and the Bible is still at the center. At this level students study Scripture more deeply, practice sharing messages and teaching, and talk through how God might use their Spanish. Our teachers mentor them by name.
That’s what it’s built for. Former students have served with YWAM in Mazatlán, committed two years to a Christian camp in Bolivia, and shared the gospel in Spanish in Peru. Spanish 4 gives students the confidence to serve wherever God leads.

About 40 minutes a day, Monday through Thursday: Education Perfect, Bible reading in Spanish, writing, and vocabulary. Add 15 to 30 minutes a week of conversation with a native speaker. With class, that’s about 4.5 hours a week total, the same as every level.
Life happens. There’s a 4-week grace period for makeup work, so students can finish missed assignments or quizzes within four weeks of the due date.
Yes to both. Spanish 4 is a great fit for adults preparing for long-term ministry. Any parent or grandparent can also audit for free. If a parent wants their own homework account and credit, they can enroll at regular tuition.
